Synergy and Creative Blending

When you put two essential oils together you create an entirely new compound. The number of permutations - using blends of two, three or more**are incalculable.

Throughout this book you will find blends which contain several essential oils but, because these blends are meant to be taken as a whole, and because particular essential oils cannot be taken out of context of the entire blend, do not assume that if a particular oil is included in a blend for stress, say, then that oil can be used on its own for the same purpose..

Sometimes this is indeed true, but not always. Please therefore use either the blend given in particular sections, or a single oil listed from that list, made up to suit your choice.
